Frugalicious
Day 30
Once a month, my gym gives away free samples for Members Appreciation Day. They give away various protein bars, this nasty Gatorade-Zero drink (that tastes like salt water), Red bull, small cereal boxes, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, free food, etc. My boyfriend LOVES free samples. When I arrive to the gym, I grab a handful of the free samples. Then when we leave, I grab another handful of the free samples. So by the end of the night, he has 4 sets of free samples....all for Brandon. He gets so excited, he's like a little child at Disney World.
A couple of months into the beginning of our relationship he asked me, "Would you be offended if I used a coupon for our dinner?" My first thought was, Does he not know who I am? Of course I wouldn't be offended. I like saving money as much as I can. if we can get two meals for the price of one, GREAT! There is nothing wrong with using coupons.
When we go grocery shopping together, we buy the Great Value/store brand. It tastes exactly the same and we save money!
Ah, I love that my boyfriend is frugal. He knows when to save money and knows to how spend his money wisely on high ticketed items.
