Power of Prayer

God answers prayers! After being unemployed for the last four and a half months, God answered my prayers today.

He heard my first prayer in July. He just made me wait. And although it didn't happen on MY timeline, everything happened for a reason:

• The countless job applications. From LinkedIn to Glassdoor.com. There were days I applied for 10 jobs a day. Sometimes with no response at all. 
• Fixing my resume numerous times to appease the company I was applying for
• The promising job interviews that went stale. 
• Getting let go from a part-time job because they found someone else who would work full-time for less pay, and 
• The hurtful rejection e-mails "You don't qualify for this position," when I clearly met the requirements. 

They all led me to this job that is WAY more than what I asked for. I will be the Director of Operations for this new start-up company. They offered me a salary more than what I was asking for. This is truly a blessing and I cannot wait to begin this new journey!

If you are in the same season of "waiting," be faithful and TRUST in his promises. He will follow through.
