Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole
Day 61
This is one of the most simple recipes ever...and Brandon's favorite dish on mine. I found this recipe off of Pinterest. And this is VERY delicious. Here's the recipe that worked for us:
Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole
12 oz spaghetti
1 2 lbs and 13oz jar prepared spaghetti sauce (the bigger spaghetti sauce jar)
2 lb lean ground beef
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 clove garlic, minced
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup of shredded Mozzarella cheese (we steered away from the original and added this ingredient in)
Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef until cooked through; drain fat and stir in spaghetti sauce. Set aside. (optional) To add flavor we added some garlic powder and minced garlic to add to the taste.
Cook spaghetti according to directions on packet. Drain and place cooked spaghetti in bowl. Immediately add cream cheese (while noodles are hot), Italian Seasoning and minced garlic. Stir until cream cheese is melted and the spaghetti is thoroughly coated.
Lightly grease a 9x13" pan. Spread a half of the meat sauce in the bottom of the dish. Put spaghetti noodles on top of meat sauce. Add 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese.
Top with remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle Mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
Bake for 30-40 minutes, until bubbly.
